Can you say "MAJOR SLACKER"?

I thought I would be better at blogging this year, but it has proven completely opposite! I haven't necessarily been to busy, just lazy I guess. Last time I left you with Dallas going to training and verifiying that I miscarried the baby back in November. Well I have some good news this post YAY!
Dallas returned from training and we are so glad he is home, but he will be leaving again in the next week for the long deployment. He will be gone for 7 months. Now this is bad news I know, but it may mean that the kids and I get to move bac
k early. At this point we are waiting on approval o
f the orders. I hope to know by this week, but as most military families know it is just a waiting game. If we get the approval for this, then we have a 5 bedroom 3 bath house we will be moving into.
NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS!! Many of you already know that I am expecting again. I found out back in February. I am now 16 weeks along and doing well. My due date is Oct. 28,2010. I will have to have a c-section, so I will be scheduling this at least a week before that date. I will also be getting my tubes tied because we are DONE! No more little cuties. 4 is plenty for us. The due date means that Dallas will be gone during t
his time and I'm pretty bummed about it, but what can you do right? I will hopefully be getting those orders home so that family can be around me and the kids during this time.
Last month we finally got our trip to Utah. It wasn't easy to get there though. We did not make it on the Patriot Express, but we tried for a few
other flights including ones to Guam, Hawaii and Alaska. After 3 different tries we finally got on a flight to Alaska. Now there was only one flight going out from Alaska in few days and it only had 6 available seats on it. We would take up 5 of them if we got on. Amazingly and luckily we had some friends that just moved there. Many of you know them.... Wendy and Alex Jones!!!! Alex works up there and he was kind enough to MAKE SURE we got on that flight!! A
ll the other families were not to happy that we got on and nobody else did. We had about an hour in Alaska to finally meet Wendy's family! Her daughter is just adorable as can be and her hubby Alex was just as kind! Thanks Wendy and Alex for everything you did for us! We then made the 4 1/2 hour trip on the C5 from Alaska to Travis AFB in California. We then waited there and finally got a ride to the Sacramento airport. We spent the night in the Sacramento
airport sleeping on the floor and chairs. Well Dallas and Jesse slept, but Kayli, Kayden and I didn't sleep at all. We finally got on our flight to Utah, stopping in Vegas and then moving on. I was pretty sick for those flights.
Once we were in Utah I realized I forgot my camera charger, so I didn't get to take too many photos while there, but that's okay because we had a ton of fun while we were there and didn't have time to worry about picture taking. Anyw
ay if your still with me , Thank you! I hope you enjoyed this adventurous tale!
P.S. We are not going to find out what sex this baby is so we can have us a SURPRISE!!
Boy Name: Conrad Marius James
Girl Name: Aniston Kaye James
We can't wait! OH YA and Kayli turned 2 yesterday!!! I can't believe it. I will be posting more pictures a little later of Utah and Kayli's second bday!

Just a Small One

Hello there,
I'm trying to get better at blogging this year. I am not as busy right now as I have been in the past 7 months. I was supposed to be visiting Utah, but it was canceled. Not one thing has happened...just same old same old so I guess that's why it is a small post, but I won't leave you without a picture..oh ya go check out my new photography blog: BLOG I am so happy with it. Far and few in between

Well..I have had a break from photo sessions because I was supposed to be in Utah right now, so I guess I'll post something here since I have time. In my last post I said not much had happened, but I did forget to mention a few things. For those of you who knew I was pregnant I just wanted to cover all my bases and let you know that I miscarried the baby back in November. I know there are some who do not know that yet, I've had lots of questions about "baby in belly". Anyway we were supposed to be in Utah right now for a visit, but we travel Space Available so there is no guarantee getting on the plane. We had tried to come in October, but failed two weeks in a row. We failed yet again this past weekend. We are going to try again this weekend and hopefully we will get on the plane. If we don't make it this weekend then we will be coming in April before Dallas deploys again. Our plan as of right now is for me and the kids to move back to Utah in June. Dallas will return home from his deployment and we would only have one month left on Okinawa, so I am just going to move back to the states early. I am hoping that my photography business will flourish there as it has here. So start spreading the word that Kristi James Photography will be coming to Utah this summer.
Dallas is training at work and will be going back to 29 Palms AGAIN in the next month. We will miss him so much, but the sooner all this is done and over with the sooner he will be done with deployments for a while.
Jesse still enjoys school and loves learning anything and everything he can. He is always asking questions about things.
Kayden is starting to grow up and be a big boy helper. Him and Jesse have also been stuck on playing Super Mario Bros. on the Wii.....They have never been so passionate about something like this LOL.
Kayli's new word is "Arigato", which is Thank you in Japanese. She is so cute when she says it. The Japanese just LOVE it.
As much as we love it here, I think it is time to move on. We miss our family so much and they miss us. They are missing out on our kids growing up and we are missing our nieces and nephews and cousins growing up. It has been such a wonderful experience here and I can honestly say this is the best place we have live thus far. Well I will leave you with that and if your still reading this thank you and I hope you enjoy a much needed update!
Oh..what is a post without photos :)

WOW..WAY TOO LONG!!!

It has been since August that I updated this thing. I have been so busy. If you watch my facebook you'll know. So I have been up to nothing but taking pictures. Check out my flickr page to view all I have been up to or my facebook(kristijamesphotography). This also has pics of the kids and fun stuff we do :)
Jesse has started Kindergarten and LOVES LOVES LOVES IT!!! He cries if he can't go to school.
He is starting to read sentences and loves it. He is such a good boy! He is super excited for Christmas.
Kayden is well Kayden. He is always into things, happy, and caring. He is such a mixture of everything. I sure do have my hands full with him. He misses his brother during the days, but is starting to learn how to play with Kayli.
Kayli is such a sweetheart. She is so caring and very opinionated also. She talks up a storm and is starting to put sentences together. She is such a momma's girl, but LOVES her some daddy too!
Dallas has returned from Radio Chiefs Course and is now preparing to deploy again in the beginning of 2010. He is excited to deploy somewhere new...I can't say where though.
We are hoping to visit Utah in January before he deploys.
It's almost Christmas and it's really weird because it's still in the high 70's here most days. We went to the beach the other day for a photo shoot and actually wore swimsuits it was that warm. Check out he flickr..in a few pages to see the pictures of my adorable children.
So much has happened and gone on in the last months I can't even remember everything, but go enjoy pictures and feel free to leave some comments LOL :) Sorry it took me so long to update..and it's not even that great cuz I can't remember everything LOL.

Update

Well me and my kiddos were supposed to be coming to Utah on the 8th of August and then the 15th of August, but came home unsuccessful. We tried to hop on the Space Available Patriot Express(basically a military flight). Zero seats both weekends, so we are not going to be coming for a while now. Dallas is in 29 Palms for some training and we have missed each other so much we thought it would be a great chance to come home for a visit. We would be able to meet new members of the family(Lincoln & Annalyne), the rest of the fam, and old friends. I was going to be able to do a lot of photo shoots for people, but now I won't be able to do this. I am so bummed. I was going to spend 30 days...3 weeks in Utah and 1 week in 29 Palms. We were going to go camping and fishing with our kids(haven't experienced this yet). Anyway, school starts soon and Jesse will be in Kindergarten. I can't believe my oldest will be in Kindergarten. I know he's not that old yet, but to me it is just crazy to think about. I was thinking the other day...WOW...I'm only 24 years old and I will have my 7 year anniversary in October, I have 3 kids and have lived so many places already. It's pretty crazy for me to think about. Back when I was 16(when I met Dallas), I never dreamed it would bring me to where I am at now. I am also taking advantage of the "My Career Advancement" program for military spouses. If eligable they pay up to $6000 dollars for education. I am going to get my Master's Certificate of Design (Digital Photography and Graphic Design). I am beyond excited for my classes to start. So be prepared to give out comments on work I will be doing. And because I'm on the randomness of this post, Kayden is Kayden and he is a crazy 3 year old. He is all over the place all the time. Nuff Said! Kayli is getting so big now. She is saying so many things and she is only 15months old. She says: daddy, mum, belly button, bath tub, car, truck, quack quack, Jesse, ball, and I think a few more. She is following directions so well. I can ask her a question and she will in some way answer me. She is so amazing and I'm completely in love with her and her little personality. I am so blessed with the most Amazing husband EVER and some great children. I have never been so happy in my life..it is about perfect right now. Wow..this post is pretty random..happenings and thoughts. Anyway, I will be getting back to booking photo session on the 24th of August. I figure I'll take this week to prepare for Jesse going back to school and to just have fun on Okinawa with them. I did get some really great shots of Kayli lately, my boys wont' sit still long enough to get pictures of anymore and then some really awesome sunset pictures. Well stay tuned for those pictures! Good night everyone!!!!

Photo Shoots Gallore

Check out my other blog for what I have been up to lately. More to come on that one also. Dallas is in 29 Palms for Radio Chiefs Course. The kids have been kind of bored as I have been so busy with photos. We have also had a few house guests since the 15th of July. Our friends were supposed to be leaving the island, but were held back and didn't have anywhere to go. Kayli kindly gave up her room to Nick, Shannon and Nelson. Anyway, gotta run have more photos to do. Check them out and let me know what you think! I always appreciate your comments. :)
