RE-DOING THE WALLS
So lately I have wanted to re-do our walls. They were looking just pretty random and all over the place, sooo with what I had here of my decorations and a few new photo frames this is what i came up with. I have never ever had this many pics up of me and Dallas, but dug up old pics of us and as recent as I could find. I also put pics of the kids that I have taken lately up. I am pleased with my pictures. I did one of my walls Black and White, I have always wanted one. Hope you like it too!! Let me know what you think!

Jesse's Class Field Trip
So on Friday we went on Jesse's first real class field trip. The class has gone on many while we were gone, but this was Jesse's first. It was a museum outside of the Ocean Expo Park. It had several animals created out of flowers. It also had several old Okinawa houses. It was beautiful. It hard to go to though with little kids. It was like a sacred place and had sacred ground. The kids were a little too rambunctious for this, but what can ya do.
Today (Sunday), I kept hearing people cheering and couldn't figure it out for a while, but then realized today was the Okinawa Marathon they do every year. Thousands of people run in this Marathon. I got down to it at the end, so I got to see the last people, but that's okay. I got some fun pictures of it.
I have more pictures from the Marathon, but my computer or the internet doesn't seem to want to upload them, sooo I'll try again tomorrow. ENJOY

Back to Okinawa
So a few weeks ago we returned to Okinawa. It was hard to leave the family, but it was really good to get home! The trip home was definitely the trip from hell! After they questioned my paperwork to get home....after I had gone through security and on the tram and up all the elevators and we had finally sat down at the gate waiting for the plane....the loud speaker came on, " Kristi James, please return to the main terminal at the Northwest Ticket Counter immediately". I could not believe it! After all the hell I had gone through to get my paperwork accepted they wanted me to go back through EVERYTHING again. My kids and ALL of our luggage back through everything. When I finally returned to the main terminal, the only thing they wanted was to get the receipt back proving I had paid the head tax. They couldn't have possibly had someone walk up there instead of making me ( I had not slept the day before or night at the USO) and my kids ( who had to get up at 0300 to make sure we got on the flight) go through all the dang crap again. So after I blew up on them and gave them the dang reciept we had to do it all again...security, tram and elevators. By the time I made it back to the gate we only had about 1/2hour before the plane started boarding. Once we got on the flight we had rude flight attendants and the kids surprisingly enough didn't sleep at all. We finally made it home though. Oh and once we got to the airport my friend picking me up told me my van wouldn't start and we had to have some very nice gentlemen jump us. Needless to say we had a very good night's sleep.
We have been super busy since we got home. Jesse back to school and trying to get everything put away. Then we got our Christmas boxes Saturday and well...the house was destroyed yet again.
Dallas will come home next month sometime. We are super excited! Then he will leave again in July to go to Radio Chief's Course in 29 Palms. He will be gone for 2 1/2 months. It really sucks, but soon he will get to be home for a while.
Valentine's day was okay. I went with the deployed spouses and we all got a pedicure. Later I watched my friend's little boy. So not very romantic, but Dallas did send me roses before I left the states. I love you hunny! Thankyou.

Sledding
So, today I took the kids sledding up Willow Creek. We were sitting at home bored, and the kids said "MOM LETS GO SOMEWHERE NOW". So.....we went sledding. We gathered up mittens, coats and boots to go. We had such a blast. Poor Kayli was scared to death though. I would even put her down and she would freak out. She has been that way lately, but this was so sincere and scared. Overall, we had one of the best days we have had in a while!
Kayli got her first two teeth in the last two weeks. It was "hell". She was miserable. I have never seen her so unhappy.
I think I put on my last post that Dallas was promoted to Staff Sergeant at midnight January 1, 2009. I am so proud of him. This was a long time coming for him. He worked hard for his promotion.

Christmas Time
So a few weeks ago, okay so longer, roughly the 1st of December our Family ( The Despains) went up willow creek and got our Christmas Tree for this year. This was so fun, and I got to bring my kids along. They have only done this once before with the James' and I haven't done it in about 7 or 8 years. We actually found a tree really fast this year. Years past it took us a while to find the RIGHT tree. It was a fun fast little trip.
On the 7Th of December we blessed Kayli. It was a nice small relaxing day, and a beautiful blessing. I am definitely blessed to have such a great family. Kayli looked like a little Angel.
The day before we had our Despain Family Christmas Party. It was nice, because I got to see cousins and aunts I have not seen in over 7 years. The families came from all over Utah.
Well, Christmas Day was an early morning. Santa got here about 4:45a.m., and we were up ready to unwrap presents at 5a.m. This year was so fun because Jesse and Kayden were old enough to know what was going on. They were so excited to see Santa had brought them presents. Jesse got every Thomas the Train sets possible. Kayden got every Hot Wheels sets possible too. Kayli got Cabbage Patch Dolls, and an activity table. I got a Wii Fit Board, a small picture printer and a laptop ( I got to open that earlier he he). Dallas also got a laptop. After opening presents at my mom's house we went to Dallas' mom's house. Cousins and aunts and uncles were there too. The kids got blankets, books, and some toys. It was a nice Christmas, but later that day was the start to weeks of ear aches and fevers! Kayden had them, then Jesse, who ended up going to the E.R. Kayli broke her first 2 bottom teeth and has had a fever also. Poor kids, one thing after another since we got here.
Happy New Year's Everyone! So we just watched movies for the night. It was just me, my mom and sister Jessica, everyone else was working or sleeping. Kinda boring ,but relaxing. I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year.

Thanksgiving ( Oh ya and some Halloween PICS)
Ya ya ya, I know Halloween, sooooo last month..kay even 2 months ago. I'm a little slow. But 
anyway, Jesse was going to be Rambo, but was honery and didnt want to be anything, so we put yellow paint on his face and just called him part of the Pit Crew on Cars. Kayden was a cute little Dragon (Jesse's costume from last year), and Kayli was the cutest little hound EVER. We just went and saw family we hadn't seen in a long time. The kids didn't' get much candy or REAL Trick or Treating done, but they still had fun. By the end of the night they were exhausted.
Thanksgiving was a nice relaxing day. At my mom's house it was supposed to be my Grandma and Grandpa Fannin and Uncle Mike, but earlier in the week the whole household was extremely sick with the flu. It started with Drew being sick and throwing up, then that same day Jessica came over thinking she had pregnancy sickness, but it turned out she had the flu too. By the end of the night my mom, Kayli, myself, Jesse, and my dad were all sick as dogs. Throwing up all night long, and speaking of dogs...... that same night puking and all, Jessica's dog gave birth. So were trying to deliver these puppies and in the process all throwing up. Jessica and mom stayed up all night with the dog to make sure the puppies came okay. Needless to say we ended up with 5 cute little puppies and still a very sick household. We were all so sick still the next day. Anyway back to Thanksgiving, Grandma and Grandpa Fannin didn't want to catch the fast spreading, contagious illness, so they all decided not to come. It was just our small little family for Thanksgiving at my moms. I then went over to Dallas' parents house. 
Dallas' brothers Mike and Blake and his wife and kids were there. Lyndie(Blake's Wife) had her grandma there. Dallas' Aunt Brenda and Rachelle and Doug and their kids were there. It was nice, all the little kids played so well the whole time. Me, Blake and Lyndie were glued to the t.v. because HOUSE was on for a Marathon. I sure missed Dallas this year. I wish he could have been here, but I know he had an okay Thanksgiving. He is on a mission and we have to sacrifice for our country. It will all be worth it in the end.
