Mother's Day

Well on Saturday we woke up early and decided we should go to the beach. We were out the door by 8:30 and got to 'OURAWAN' beach by 9:00. It was so fun. We were practically the only ones at the beach and we loved it. It's kind of our own little private beach. Not many people come there, especially that early. After almost 7 years of marriage I finally convinced Dallas not to wear his shirt when he was swimming. He was always self conscious, but now he is new and improved. We played in the sand and Dallas took the kids in the water. Jesse loves to go swim in the water, but Kayden doesn't like it at all!! I tried to take Kayli in and she didn't like the waves at all. They are so tiny, but they still scared her. We had so much fun just playing in the sand. Dallas did a little exploring of some rocks that are a little ways out in the water. He found crabs and mussels all over them. He was very tempted to take some home. We love our seafood. Around lunch time we decided to head out. It was
a great day, other than Dallas got pretty burnt on his back. Sunday, Mother's Day, we got up a little later than the
day before and picked up Shannon and Nelson and headed to a beach we haven't gone to yet. Well, when we got there and up close, it was filled with the local bums and it was filled with seaweed. It was pretty gross, but we stayed anyway and just played in the sand. Dallas had fun throwing Shannon's dog, Yen, in the water. Yen didn't like it too much though. After the beach, we came home, showered, ate and crashed for 4 hours. It was a nice nap, but I didn't sleep till late that night. Guess that's what I get for actually taking a nap huh? Over all I had an amazing weekend!! On a different note, Kayli is starting to take some steps. Take a Look!!!!
